It's that time of year again! The schedule of shows/panels for Dragon Con has been released and I can share with you where I'm planning to be.
I'm really excited about this year as we have some great stuff lined up. If you want a handy-dandy app for the event there is a great Dragon Con app in all app stores, I'd recommend it.
FRIDAY:
Solve This!
Location: Hyatt Regency V
Time: 2:30pm
Duration: 1 hour
Description: It's the improvisational panel show making it's 4th appearance at DC. Last year, I lost my championship title to Joseph Scrimshaw. Can I take it back?
Gonzo Quiz Show & Doin' Improv
Location: Marriott Imperial Ballroom
Time: 5:30pm
Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
Description: This is a back-to-back performance of the notorious Gonzo Quiz Show and the riotous improv show. I'll be co-hosting and performing in both so make sure to see me lose my marbles.
SATURDAY:
Lost: The Audience Panel
Location: Marriott M106-M107
Time: 5:30pm
Duration: 1 hour
Description: I'll be moderating this panel but the actual panelists will be... YOU! I'll choose three people from the audience to be on the panel and then let the discussion/theories/accusations fly!
Gonzoroo III: A Musical Quizodyssey
Location: Marriott Atrium Ballroom
Time: 8:00pm
Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
Description: Once again we'll be going back-to-back this time between the great musical concert and the Gonzo Quiz Show. I'll be co-hosting the quiz but for all our sakes, lets hope I won't be doing anything at the concert. By the way, did I ever tell you that I hate Ken for the titles he gives these every year? Well, I do.
SUNDAY:
Gonzo Quiz Show IX: That Darn Cat
Location: Hyatt Regency VI - VII
Time: 8:30pm
Duration: 1 hour
Description: The final quiz of the year and the Sunday night show is usually where we are at our most reckless and insane so don't miss it. It's a long held DC tradition now.
FRED Presents: Doin' Improv
Location: Hyatt Regency VI - VII
Time: 10:00pm
Duration: 1 hour
Description: Make sure to stay in your seats because after the quiz will be the best improv show of the convention. How do I know? Well, I think I'm involved in ALL the improv shows at the convention, so I'm kinda an authority.
