I Need Maleev
I first came across Alex Maleev's work through his incredible run on Daredevil with Brian Michael Bendis (you know, the best thing about Marvel comics for the last 20 years or so). His ability to use shadows in his work is both aesthetically pleasing and genuinely distinctive in his work. And yes, that is the most pretentious sentence I'll ever write... Hopefully.
