I don't think an introductory paragraph was ever needed less in the history of this website. Lets just watch the thing, yes?

Tease Me, Baby! - Jurassic World

NOTE: This article was originally published by me on TheWebsiteofDOOM.com

DADA DAAAAH DAAAH DAAAH. DADADAAAAAH DAAAAH DAH. DADADAAAAH DADAAAAAH DADAAAAAH DAH. DAH DAH DAAAAAH DADAH. DAH DAH DAAAAAAAAH DADAH...

You have no idea how much I want to make the whole article my attempt at phonetically writing the theme tune to Jurassic Park. Just know that I could do it. But I guess, being a stupid grown up means I should probably write something properly for this trailer of the 4th Jurassic Park film instead.

Aaron's WWEport - Eye On Survivor Series

NOTE: This article was originally published by me on TheWebsiteofDOOM.com

It's been quiet around here lately and with good reason. This year's wrestling product has been generally horrible. Some of that is based on luck. A lot of big hitters in the WWE have been injured this year, hairy ball of love Daniel Bryan being a huge miss for the company. Some of it has been based on bad decision making, the break-up of their two biggest and red-hot factions being an example. And just the general theme that NXT is doing everything better (especially on commentary, save us Renee Young!). But last night's Survivor Series was a genuine joy to watch and I have 3 reasons why.

SPOILERS for anyone who hasn't seen the show yet...

1) Mizdow

The tag division has been getting stronger and stronger for the last couple years now. Too many teams have come and gone, that's still a problem, but in general the emphasis has improved. Last night's 4-way tag match for the belts was a lot of fun but one man stole the show.

Damien Sandow has long been a cult favourite, especially with the smarter marks out there. He has never been given a great run, even his Money In The Bank briefcase was even taken off him and given to Cena. But his tireless work and unending commitment has meant that anyone who can see him in action has fallen in love with him.

The Miz is mediocrity personified but he has always been easy to jeer and this current Hollywood gimmick suits him down to the ground.

Their current partnership together is the embodiment of love/hate with the audience but somehow it's working, partially because The Miz (almost in a mirroring of WWE itself) is sidelining Sandow and making him work endlessly with little or no reward. With Sandow stealing the show, the dynamic can't last long but should hopefully springboard him into a higher position on the card.

Please, WWE, don't mess it up.

League of DOOM - November Update

NOTE: This article was originally published by me on TheWebsiteofDOOM.com

The international break comes to an end and the clubs are back in action again tomorrow. There are some tasty clashes like Man City versus Swansea and Arsenal versus Man United but the biggest clashes happen in our Fantasy Football league, so let take a look at where we are right now!

league

First off, I'm proud of all of us for not letting Average get the top spot in the table. For anyone who doesn't know; our league has an odd number of teams so to make sure everyone has a match-up each week the website provides the Average team which always has the average score of all the teams registered to the site. And we've been losing to it. Consistently. The worst thing that can happen here is Average winning the league so please, folks, lets do better.

Also, what the hell Cool Dragons? Get your shit together.

The Drive-In of DOOM! - Howard The Duck

This month's Drive-In is a personal favourite of both myself and JJ and yet neither of us would say that it's a very good movie. Howard The Duck was released in 1986 and barely broke even in the box office. It has been critically panned by pretty much everyone and yet we still like it. Why? I have no idea, but join us as we try to figure it out.

We'll talk about duck boobs, duck puns, duck genitals, Leah Thompson, Leah Thompson and duck genitals, Jeffrey Jones and unfortunate allegations, distracting extras, and the ending that never ends.

Could Agent Carter Be The Female Protagonist Marvel Needs?

NOTE: This article was originally published by me on TheWebsiteofDOOM.com

For anyone who doesn't follow me on Twitter (and kudos to you for making a good decision) I recently had a bit of a rant about Marvel's cinematic universe.

Marvel recently announced its "Phase 3" movie schedule and received a lot of praise for finally having a movie led by a person of colour and by a woman, Black Panther and Captain Marvel respectively. While I too am glad to see these movies being made I do question how long it took them to get there.

By the time Black Panther comes out it will be Marvel's 16th movie and Captain Marvel will be it's 18th. That means Marvel will have released 15 movies led by white dudes. Don't get me wrong, I've loved their movies and they've had people of colour and good women in those films but that's a long time without trusting such a large demographic of people to lead a movie or TV show themselves. Plus, when you think that it will be another 4 years before those two announced projects actually get released... it doesn't paint the situation in a great light.

Then along comes Peggy Carter...

Cartoon All-Stars "Just Say No To Drugs"

NOTE: This article was originally published by me on TheWebsiteofDOOM.com

Have you ever wanted to hear Alvin and the Chipmunks describe marijuana, Bugs Bunny say "joint", Alf threaten to eat Garfield, or Michelangelo say "drugs, bud"? Then 1990's Cartoon All-Stars To The Rescue is the VHS video for you!

The whole thing is introduced by George and Barbara Bush. Their message is so important, Barbara felt the dog had to be present to emphasise their seriousness.
